SHIPPING & CANCELLATION POLICY

Shipping Delays:

While there are many procedures we follow to mitigate the risk of shipping fresh-food around the country, there are unfortunately some things outside of our control — such as weather and transit delays — once the package is in the hands of FedEx, it is no longer something we can control. As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date. Acapella Seafood Co. reserves the right to schedule the arrival of your order earlier than estimated to prevent delays, based on operational conditions.

Acapella Seafood Co. is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier mis-scans or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information. We do not require a signature for the release of any shipment. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control.

Acapella Seafood Co. does not require a signature for the delivery of most of its packages.

Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email. If you need to modify the delivery address once your order has shipped, a request will need to be submitted 3 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. Acapella Seafood Co. is not responsible for delays in transit caused by address modification.

There are no returns, refunds or cancellations allowed on any orders that have shipped.

All packages are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight and therefore we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.

When are your shipping days?

Our shipping days are Mondays through Friday. We do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays. We also do not ship outside of Miami-Dade County on holidays recognized by FedEx (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).

How do you ship your products?

All products are shipped in a corrugated box using insulated walls and gel packs. A convenient alternative to ice, gel packs do not risk cross-contaminating foods in the way melted ice can. Gel packs are often made of non-toxic materials that will not liquefy, and therefore will not spill or contaminate if the container breaks.

 

Upon receipt of your package, remove all food products from the box.
